The dreamlike jewel of the Mediterranean that you cannot visit only once; a small universe teeming with beauties and treasures you will fall in love with from the moment you set foot on the island, and you will probably need a lifetime to uncover!

Glorious history, endless Mythology, priceless culture, exquisite beaches, the most authentic hospitality in the world, unique natural beauties, delicious cuisine, and sublime wines! No place in the world has more to offer.

Each of the four regions of Crete has its own charm and character.

CHANIA

One of the most beautiful places in Greece, a dreamlike land of insuperable beaches, a mosaic of cultures, tastes, and history with incredible mountainous and seaside scenery. It is also called the Venice of the East due to its Venetian Harbour, a cart-postale that will garnish your soul. Apart from the town, there are fantastic places in Chania that will awe you: beaches with crystal clear waters and pink sand, picturesque villages dotted on the slopes of the “White Mountains”, gorges with tremendous wild beauty and untouched places that even the locals have not explored. But remember, what makes Crete unique is not its natural beauty but the Cretans themselves.

RETHYMNON

Discover the old town of Rethymno, with its Venetian buildings, mosques, minarets, fountains, and cobblestone alleys lined with shops, cafes, bars, and hotels. Nearby is Idaio Antro – one of the most important caves of Minoan worship.

LASSITHI

A picturesque region located in the eastern part of the island, with stunning natural beauty, exotic sceneries, authentic villages on the slopes of Psiloritis, and a stunning coastline with golden sandy beaches. Visit the palm forest at Vai, but make sure you also find time for the caves of Diktean Antro and Milatos, the island fortress of Spinalonga, and the Lassithi Plateau dotted with traditional windmills and picturesque villages.

HERAKLION

The capital of Crete has unparalleled historical significance, is home to the Palace of Knossos, the most prominent center of the Minoan civilization, and is one of the most magnificent civilizations of humankind. The Palace is also connected with thrilling legends, such as the myth of the Labyrinth with the Minotaur and the story of Daedalus and Icarus. Apart from Knossos, you will also find the Minoan Palace of Festos and the prehistoric city of Gortyna in the Heraklion region.
