Delphi
The navel of the world
Delphi is an enchanting ancient Greek sanctuary nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Greece on the slopes of Mount Parnassus.
The location of the oracle is not random; according to the myth, the eagles, dispatched by Zeus to find the center of the earth, met here. And it is where the god Apollo founded his sanctuary when he killed the dragon Python.
This is also where Pythia, the high priestess, uttered the divine advice of God Apollo to mortals who traveled from across the world to seek a prophecy.
Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is where history comes alive, where you can immerse yourself in the mystical ambiance and imagine whispers of the past echoing through the ruins.
